The Company

Established in 2005, OVERTON Safety Training, Inc. (OST) is the successor to Overton Safety Engineering, Inc.which together have trained and certified thousands of Crane, Aerial Lift, Forklift, and Rigging professionals in the western United States since 1991. OST provides quality operator training and certification that exceed client expectations!

We are proud members of AGC, ABC, and ACRP.

The Instructors

Recognized as expert facilitators, our classroom instructors have years of experience in Industry Safety Training and Instruction. All hands-on proficiency evaluations are performed by Certified Instructors with years of experience in Crane, Forklift, and Aerial/Scissor Lift operation.

Course Content

All OST courses meet or exceed all Federal, State & Local Safety Training & Certification Requirements for that type of equipment or expertise.

All courses consist of multi-media interactive classroom instruction with graded written exams as well as graded hands-on proficiency testing. Students receive a classroom workbook filled with useful information for them to keep. Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive a photo ID card recognized in most of the western United States. All required training records are provided for the employer's retention.

Some OST Classes are approved by the Oregon Electrical/Elevator Board for Electrician's Continuing Education.
