This workshop assists employer’s operators or in-house trainers in satisfying the federal and/or state training, testing and evaluation requirements and includes: classroom instruction, student handbook, written exam, practical evaluation, and all proper documentation of training.

This half day Forklift safety program covers laws and standards related to forklift operation, daily forklift and area inspection, stability, key components, load engagement, stacking and tiering, refueling/recharging, traveling, understanding load rating charts, signaling, dealing with jobsite and electrical hazards.

“Operator Refresher” per federal and state regulations, forklift operators are required to re-take the practical operating evaluation every 36 months to become re-qualified.  Even though regulations require you only be re-evaluated on the equipment, we highly recommend you attend the entire half-day program at the refresher rate. To attend as an "Operator Refresher" you must possess a current and non-expired OVERTON Safety Training ID card.

The extended “Train-the-Trainer” workshop includes all of the above as well as "How to Be an Effective Trainer", color-keyed instructor's manual, PowerPoint presentation of course material, instructor/evaluator ID card & certificate of completion (to be sent to you within 10 business days of course completion), 20 student handbooks, written exam, exam grading key, practical evaluation form, sign-in sheet, score sheet, record keeping instructions, student card template, and a trainer tote bag.

8:00 am - 4:00 pm: All Train the Trainers
8:30 am - 4:00 pm: New Operators
10:30 am -12:00 pm: Refresher Operators
